The Illusion of Deliberate Design

If you hold to evolution, does that mean you are an atheist? Actually the answer is no. And it has nothing to do with any kind of metaphysical or philosophical or spiritual issue. It's something that almost all scientists who are Christians don't like. The universe that we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is at bottom no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.
