The Power of Chaos

The authors of scripture were looking for a way to depict the power of chaos and they used waters. In Eden, we have one river that pours off the top of a mountain and breaks into four streams. The Bible doesn't do a whole lot of setting the scene. It just doesn't care. They don't want to tell you like what did Jonah's house look like? We've got no idea. What you get is the things they want you to pay attention to.
