Introduction

This season we're reading Ascension's edition of Introduction to the Devout Life by St. Francis to Sales. We'll look at our preparatory steps for prayer, specifically how our imagination and affect fit into the picture. The last point that St. Francis brings up for us is of particular importance because, as we've been talking about, we've been encouraged to move from aspiration to action in the Devout life.
