Lucas: Why is it so scary to speak around other people than it is to speak at home? It has everything to do with the fear of what they're going to think about me when I mess up. If you don't, you feel insecure and afraid and like a failure. Lucas wouldn't worry so much about nailing a certain accent because "it's not reducing an accent, it's acquiring a new accent"
