Brighton and Hove Albion have been linked with a move for Newcastle's sporting director Dan ashworth. The Magpies are currently 14th in the Premier League table, six points above the relegation zone. Ashworth has worked under Eddie howe at West Bromwich Albion since taking over from Alan Pardew as manager last year.
