The Impact of ESG Risks on Emerging Market Banks
Banks in the Dominican Republic, Uganda and Pakistan have the highest exposure to physical climate risks. Most of these banks are located in Africa, the Middle East, India and Pakistan. Exposed to governance considerations is negative for over half of emerging market banks versus less than 40% for developed markets.
