Malcolm's Autobiography - A Review

Malcolm X's ideas about women could be very patriarchal, as when he explains the nation of islam's view that women are by nature weak and men strong. It would only be at the end of his life, though, that he shifted toward what might be termed a progressive view of gender. The earlier thought of x, before his changes of heart in 19 64, is often contrasted to the less angry and more loving approach of martin luther king junior. And we ourselves will get back to that contrast shortly.
