Ordinary Courage

Lisa Ling: How do we encourage not only our kids but ourselves to find those ordinary heroes? She says it really does begin with how we see, how we choose to see and I think about courage a lot. To me, ordinary courage is the dad who gets up and helps make the breakfast and pack the toddlers backpack and then drives to chemotherapy. "It has moved them more than any movie I've seen them watch," she says of her teenage sons' reactions when they hear stories about their uncle.
