I think people forget how simple react is at its core in a lot of ways. So if you're not being overly fancy about it and you don't mind leaking memory and overly rerendering, then you can write crap code that works. If you want to be truly proficient in react, I would say that really depends on your experience,. But if you're like from a bootcamp, let's say, and you're not like super genius, then I would say somewhere from four to 10 years.
