The Internet of Things is really about taking devices or objects and connecting them to the Internet. The original Wi-Fi chip that came out in 2007 in your iPhone cost about seven and a half dollars to produce. Now that same chip is about 10 cents, so you've had 99% deflation in a chip. So if you have a 10 cent chip that is also one tenth of the size of a dime, you can start putting that in pretty much anything if it has some use case.
