The Role of the Human Researcher in Machine Learning
I'm sure that will come as a relief to many researchers out there worried about the encroachment of AI. We still need expert researchers who really understand the context of the data, the mode by which it has been collected and the kind of constraints within which it's been built. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a centralized body, you know, that would, that would be responsible for that. However, this presents a good opportunity for researchers who are trying to get started in AI, but may have expertise in another field. And even if they're not necessarily involved, youknow, first hand or writing new algorithms, they can certainly check the quality of research.
