Mycenaean Pottery on Sardinia and Sicily
Sardinia and Sicily were both tied to the trade networks of the eastern Mediterranean. Mycenaean pottery shows up in small quantities on both islands, as well as on the Italian mainland. The route was entirely within the limits of late Bronze Age seafaring knowledge and skill. And if this identification is correct, then these wanderers first destination would have been MyCenaean Greece.
