Subcontinental Drift, Philosophy in Islamic India. The subcontinent was still more or less foreign to Muslim viewpoint until the 11th century. Al-Biruni interviewed members of the Brahman class who were brought from India by Mahmoud Avrasna and received a crash course in classical Indian teachings. Islam is the second most common religion in today's India - embraced by 13% of the population.
