I wouldn't want to reduce it to a disadvantage though. It's just certain experiences, some of which are disadvantages and some of which may be neutral or advantageous. The battleground is not does people's crypto identity give them a set of experiences that other people don't have? What's about does that preclude us being able to sit down together as reasoning human beings and objectively evaluate the claims that come out of that?
