We Both Deserve It
There is no doubt she's doing a hard job, but so are you. It comes back to that compassion within ourselves of what we both need and knowing that we both deserve it. We all know this when we meet our needs, we are better humans. When I finally got over the story of I need permission to look after myself, my husband wasn't coming home to a really angry wife. Everything felt better for him. And there were times where we're like, well, we need to outsource a bit or we need extra support. But it was biggest game changer becoming the parent we want to be.
