The Importance of Reason in Education
In its absence what possible interest could there be in a list of what the president says now and what he said then. Public has adjusted to incoherence and has been amused into indifference. The television commercial has oriented business away from making products of value and towards making consumers feel valuable. No one has ever said or implied that significant learning is effectively, durably and truthfully achieved when education is entertaining.
