Chris Boyce was sent off to go record these elephants and they let out one baby elephant roar. He knew just how to apply the deep grumble of the crocodile or that raspy lion sound at the beginning of it. There's also a scene where the kids are caught in a stampede of dinosaurs that look sort of like ostriches. To make their screeches, they use the frightening sound of a horse in heat.
