The Story of Money

People whom we think we can trust might not be amplifying a story of money that gives us utility for the long run. Shopping is a very recent invention, and i've been to parts of the world where there is no shopping. The whole idea that you would go to a store with money to buy something you've never had before just to give you pleasure isn't basic human nature. That's something thas been taught to us. So ourselves and our kids and our family and the people around us, a useful story of money has two parts. You don't have to be in debt to be fully alive, i think that's critical.
