The Different Types of Bitcoin Funding

There is no we don't know where the payments come from really since lightning is pretty private in that sense and we're not actively trying to get that information. We do get a little bit of insight as to which countries people are funding from but that's surely based on IP which can spoof they can be hidden VPN so I would say that data is pretty noisy. In terms of what motivates funders to contribute to the project I think the majority of them at the moment are driven by a will to do good and to contribute to this adoption of Bitcoin going on around the world.
