Joseph Smith writes five different accounts of the first vision, really four major ones. There's 1832, which is a private account. It's never published within his own lifetime. And then in 1842, he writes what's popularly known as the Wentworth Letter. Scott: His experience started to become sort of a prototype of how we could get our own witness from God.
