The Dangers of Artificial Intelligence
I wonder whether our ability to think through these things isn't somewhat at risk from the extraordinary development of technology. In the case of artificial intelligence, there's fantastic scope for human betterment but there can also be a lot of misjose. It's not clear that the good that they're doing is agreed by the potential for misinformation and deception. On the other hand, things like automatic translation has been a tremendous boost. If we get self-driving autonomous vehicles that will be a huge boost. And if we have better reading of x-rays, better diagnosis of diseases, better discovery of drugs, all of these have a huge impact.
