The Different Experiences of Children Who Goed Back to Spain
Bast Children's Committee received reports of children who had been returned only to end up on the streets without their families. Many who recalled their experience later in life, they'd returned to difficult or terrible times under the Franco dictatorship. For many of them it was quite traumatic to go back to a dictatorship, especially if their parents had been politically opposed to Franco. That could make things very difficult.
