Many are distressed by the growing dividedness and hostility in our world. The supreme court has rolled backo women's rights, allowing hand guns in public. And so there's a sense of this deep backslide. It's a backsliding of democracy. Whenever rights of non dom groups are taken away, that always goes hand in hand with a backslide in democracy. So i do keep thinking of gondy rilly dedicated his life to freedom, inner freedom and outer freedom. He said we can't separate how we engage as a collective from the principles we really cherish in our lives.
