Samuel Sousa: This is the conclusion of round one, you might say. The magicians have lost Aaron as the lieutenant in the Lord's army and we're going to get ready to go into round two. Things are going to escalate with Moses verse Pharaoh. And do you think just because it hasn't been mentioned, doesn't mean that Goshen was plagued by numbers one through three? I think this is an example of later information filling in gaps that were left by earlier stories due to the economical way in which the story is being presented.
