Bitcoin and the Bitcoin Pizpin Network
The idea is that it reduces the cost of access and makes access more private. You don't necessarily want to broadcast to the Bitcoin Pizpin network when you run a Bitcoin node, Bitcoin software. It's possible to de-locate an IP address quite often into a street address or for your government to ask the ISPs for subscriber information against IP addresses. So, it places you at risk and just generally is bad for your privacy to be connected on the internet because it's a Piz pin network.
