The Life and Times of St. Thomas

St. Thomas of Canterbury was a teacher for the Dominican order. He lived from about 1225 to 1275 and taught throughout Paris and Italy until he died at 50 unexpectedly. The Dominicans were a revolutionary force in the church in the 13th century. They saw how poor teaching was, with what great difficulty people had responding to arguments including heresies.
