How to Evaluate a Company's Characteristics
We look at each company on its own merits and then we pick the factors that we think are going to have the best expressed evaluation for that company. We do so both empirically and also we layer some judgment on top of that to make sure that it makes sense or aligns with our view of systematizing the role of a discretionary analyst. It's interesting because you don't really have an overall model that you're applying to everything. You really do have these more granular approaches where you're looking at all different types of companies in different ways.
