Voodoo is a religion that combines elements of two or more traditions. Other examples include the religions practiced by Aztec and Mayan peoples, as well as pre-Christian Greco-Roman religion. Tibetan Buddhism is a combination of historical spiritual practices of Tibet and Buddhism at the time it arrived. The effects also took place throughout Asia, where traditions like Confucianism combined with various forms of shamanism, Taoism and Shintoism.
