The Wisdom That Creates, With a Capital W
In his book, augustine digs in on wisdom. He says there are three different approaches or dimensions to the concept of wisdom. There is Wisdom that is god and wise in humankind. But when he talks about those, these three, so wisdom in god, wisdom that is christ, and then wisdom in humankind, that third one is the created one. And it's really just remarkable that augustine is not at chalcedon before ephesus 31. So he doesn't give us a dedicated christology but gives us something buried in the trinity. The whole nestorian controversy is neance is all that is happening around him.
