The Injustice of the Election College
Historically, Hamilton is correct. You don't get a lot of complaining from the anti-Federalists back in 1787, 88 about the injustice of the electoral college. Yes, this thing, absolutely not. So we've done a complete 180 here. We've really turned the corner. Americans now can present this one thing, this one part of the constitutional regime as the very definition of injustice flies in the face of our historical understanding of that very thing. What do we make of this? Well, we make of it that politicians want to win. They don't care what stands in their way. Whatever it is, it's definitionally a bad thing and must be expunged
