Doeg, the Servant of Saul

Doeg is one of the worst characters in scripture, and there are a lot of bad characters in the Bible. He's called a servant of Saul, not a good sign. The Edom, you'll remember, is the nation that's named after Esau,. so they didn't call them Esauites, they called them Edomites. There is a long centuries long antagonism between Israel and Edom.
