The Effects of Acetaminophen on Pain
acetaminophen seems to pretty specifically affect pain via our central nervous system rather than peripherally or like directly at the site of wherever that pain is coming from. Most studies have shown it results in about a point two to point four degree Fahrenheit decrease in human body temperature, which is even less than I would have thought based on my personal usage of it. It's considered pretty similar in terms of pain reduction to something like an ibuprofen. Some studies show that it does fairly well at things like cancer pain and migraine headaches.
