The Dangers of Being a Technologist in Academia
I love the idea of you as a disruptor. And I think your point about this nuance on the behind the curve is really interesting, because you're not in comparison to other institutions in the UK but you are in terms of where you want to be and the potentiality. There's sometimes a slight danger of being a technologist in these settings,. Because you don't take always, you're not always able to place yourselves in the feet of others - which itself is a danger.
