The Fed Can't Pause, Is It Transitory?

So far, all of this is consistent with a down shift from above trend to below trend. Every recession in history was preceded by the three months to two year or three months to ten year curve being inverted. We're nowhere near that point. So could we talk ourselves into recession? I think it would be very unusual.
