Uniswap V3: Central Limit Order Book

The AMM model has been obviously very popular within the community. How important do you think the central limit order book is to that future? Do you think in order to really destroy centralized exchanges you need to have central limit order books that are actually highly performant? I think we're gonna see both, but with special purpose chains where you can have your own functionality on chain and still do it very, very efficiently.
