The Global North Has Broken the Global Climate System

The global north has basically broken the global climate system as a result of greenhouse gas pollution, says Steve Call. The conversation gets a little messier when oil-producing countries in the global south advocate for the ability to develop and use fossil fuels within their borders,. And it makes sense: they need the oil. So how dare the global north, which has amassed so much wealth thanks to abundant fossil fuels, turn around and tell the global south that they can't do the same?
