The Role of Context in Humor

The way people react to the different styles of humor out there depends on the audience. It also depends probably on the context, right? Because I would imagine that particularly when it comes to the two more negative styles of humor, like the aggressive one and the more self-deprecating one or something like that, that in many situations, probably people wouldn't react that well to those kinds of humor. Yes, absolutely. There's not necessarily something inherently right or wrong with fun or not in the joke. It's how you perceive it.
