Businesses that spend a lot of money on bort media tend to have large marketing departments. And because what the marketing departments does, i is expensive, those marketing departments are reasonably influential. But making decisions on the basis of assumed logic with no reference at all to any one who takes the human psychological perspective is an ex ordinary dangerous thing. In physics, you're dealing with a single right answer, ok? In psychologic you're emphatically not. There are multiple right answers to the same question. Times more baffling still, the opposite of a good idea can be another good idea.
