What Happens in Same Sex Couples?
When I work with same sex couples, regardless of whether you are in a hetero relationship or not, what tends to happen in same sex couples is they actually tend to take on roles that were traditionally modeled to them. So there are moments where they are more able to express themselves equally than maybe you would find in another relationship. And if you're the one that struggles with it, asking your partner to let you process sometimes in male, female dynamics can be really sad as we shut the guy down by saying, why aren't you saying more?
