It's not in the United States, but like if you look at France, which isn't so,. Germany just decided to go to embrace nuclear, reembrace. But you know, so it wasn't so anathemaized in France.

Besides the need to attract attention, what are some other drivers behind the news media's tendency to "catastrophize the normal"? To what extent does paltering take place on the politically left and right ends of the new media spectrum?
