I think having commodity exposure, even if you stick with US companies or just commodities in general can bounce some of that out. We've really had a perfect storm to encourage that over the past decade. If you look at most metrics right now, there's so much global capital stuffed into US markets. I do have concerns about you can have a period where the S&P 500 goes sideways, especially in inflation adjusted terms. Same thing for many types of US real estate. You could go sideways for five years, 10 years in inflationadjusted terms while certain sectors or certain foreign markets or certain global assets outperform those kind of price action.
