American psychologist phillip zimbardo was the professor who set up the stanford prison experiment at stanford university, california. The experience was so realistic and brutalizing that it culminated in the prisoners being forced to simulate sex. Years later, phillips embardo was asked did he have any regrets? Prisoners suffer. There's no question about it. And i am responsible for it. But there was probably more gain from this study than almost any other study.
