The Younger Generation Is Not Taking Advantage Of
House or car going back to school, getting married, starting a family like these feel like Puritan ethic goals. I have a lot of younger friends who don't even want to own a house. You know, the idea of that is just paralyzing to them. Back then companies had pensions too. If you stuck it out, you got a nice pension, which that's something that very few people get anymore unless you work mostly in a government job. Those are gone.
