I grew up in this household. My mom was a singer and watching my mom sort of just be this kind of stage presence for, you know, it was 7 p.m. on a Thursday, Friday, on a Saturday. Kind of gave me confidence to be that way in myself too. We call her a bit of a Southport celebrity because her hometown is Southport. She'll go shopping for some groceries and she'll get stopped by 30 people being like, hey, Jill, you're right. And they all know her because of her music and so, because of her job.
