Are There More Bees on Earth or More Stars in the Galaxy?
Last week, we asked whether there were more stars in the galaxy or bees on earth. One of our listeners objected to a statement made by an astronomer for scotland. She said: 'Our best theories about how our universe formed and why it's here tell us that our universe is actually infinite' The concept of infinity is mind boggling according to one listener. But just because the universe might be infinite does not necessarily mean that the number of stars is also infinite. Surprisingly, turns out the bees have it et all right - they are very good at keeping their heads above water.
