The End of the Fuleira Luther Is Writing the Ship

Class consciousness has not been built because people are poor separately. They're poor as individualized consumers who are sorted into effective units, demographic units that then go to war with each other for resources. The attempt to create a proletarian subject failed in the 20th century and now we just have these scraps of identity fighting against each other. Who's going to be the ones who are saved? Is it going to be  the people who have the aesthetic sensibility and refinement to appreciate the exalted beauty of the Byzantine Latin Mass? Because my God, if we don't maintain a society that allows them to thrive what's the point of anything?
