Yan: I get criticism often by people who say that you've changed your mind drastically, as though that's a crime. How are you personally thinking of that aspect? Yes, sure. So one, the first thing i was thinking of when you were describing your intellectual journey over the past 20 years is you remind me of an old neo kon in terms o f the way the term was initially described, especially in the seventies. It feels as if you were a new conservative who was mugged by reality, and now you are not holding a different position at all.
