What Happened in the Middle 70s?

In the middle 70s for me I was so enamored of Eastern traditions. And suddenly I can talk to physicists and we can hear one another afresh. To look at a limited cause and effect relationship and yet recognize that everything in the universe is related where are you going to get a factor analytic program that covers that one? In current research there's plenty of space left for all of these other theories.
