How to Use Assistive Technology to Help People With Disabilities
I'm a big believer in application of mainstream technology to help people with disabilities. In assistive technology, one challenge is that we tend to make products for smaller market niches than the consumer electronics world. We decided that we were going to go with mainstream, a high-tech automated assembly, manufacturing techniques. And I was very fortunate and blessed to have partners that agreed to go into this journey with me.
