The European Parliament's Request for Facial Recognition CCTV Cameras
A little known surveillance program captures money transfers between U.S. and more than 20 countries. A European Parliament who publicly opposed facial recognition tech has requested the acquisition of CCTV cameras with facial recognition capabilities. The Irish Civil Liberties Group wants to know if and what other devices were produced by the manufacturer that might still be in use.
